How to Evaluate Triple Baby Strollers
When you have triplets, or even three small children, people might think that your costs are tripled, but in many cases they are much more than that. Buying triple baby strollers is a huge investment, and often times they cost much more than three times the cost of a normal stroller. But, by buying these online, you can find some terrific bargains.
There are a few key features that you need to look for when you are evaluating triple baby strollers, and the first of which should be the seating arrangement. There are pros and cons to each of the two primary ways that your babies can be seated. Nothing is as cute as a side-by-side configuration that lets your babies get a good view of the scenery and lets people around you see how cute they are. But, there are several aspects of that seating arrangement that do not work for some people.
First of all, if your children are young, it is often a good idea for them to see you and you to see them, rather than to have them facing away from you. More importantly, these strollers are extremely wide and if you plan on going to any indoor places with it, then forget about it! Side-by-side triple baby strollers simply will not fit through most doorways.
The other alternative that some parents choose is an in-line seating arrangement, where the children are seated as if they are on a train, one behind the other, usually with some sort of elevation for the back passengers. These strollers also tend to be a bit heavier because of the construction that is necessary to hold the three babies in such close quarters.
Some babies do not like sitting in in-line triple baby strollers, because if they are not sitting in front, they do not have that much room, and their view is limited. So, there is certainly a price to pay if you choose one of these.
Other than the seating arrangements, you should look for locking wheels, which are absolutely necessary on triple baby strollers. Because you will be carrying such weight, you do not want the stroller rolling off. Look for wheels on all four wheels.
It is also important to pay attention to overall stability. Because little children can get a little antsy in the stroller, it is not unheard of for children to tip a stroller over just on their own weight. You also want stability to make sure that when you make a fast turn, that the kids do not go flying!
Overall, safety, comfort, and price should be your biggest concerns when it comes to buying triple baby strollers. Make sure that the stroller is certified, that it is built solidly, and that all of the appropriate seat belts work properly and you will have safe, happy babies on your next trip out.
